With everything going on right now, I find exercise to be more important than ever, and it has nothing to do with burning calories.
Maybe now isnโt the best time to try to lose weight or make incredible strength gains, but that doesnโt mean exercise should be completely ignored. If we put aside the obvious benefits of burning calories or building muscle, there is SO much more that exercise does for us.

Exercise has some direct stress-busting benefits. It releases endorphins and may help bump up the production of your brain’s feel-good neurotransmitters, called endorphinsโฃ
๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒโฃ
Exercise simply makes you functionally stronger. โฃ
โข Getting up off the floorโฃ
โข Carrying heavy objects (like children)โฃ
โข Putting something up on a shelfโฃ
A multitude of activities are a combination of various muscles. It only improves your overall quality of life.โฃ

Exercising also boosts oxygen circulation inside your body. This increase in oxygen not only supports the mitochondria’s energy production, it allows your body to function better and to use its energy more efficiently.โฃ

Exercise strengthens your heart and improves your circulation. The increased blood flow raises the oxygen levels in your body. This helps lower your risk of heart diseases such as high cholesterol, coronary artery disease, and heart attack. Regular exercise can also lower your blood pressure and triglyceride levels.โฃ

Exercising also improves sleep for many people. Specifically, moderate-to-vigorous exercise can increase sleep quality for adults by reducing sleep onset โ or the time it takes to fall asleep โ and decrease the amount of time they lie awake in bed during the night. Moreover, sleep allows your body to recover from the previous day.โฃ

For many self-esteem issues are tied to body perception. Exercise is the most useful activity that can change our body composition and transform us into the sexy beasts we were meant to be. Who doesn’t like to look more attractive, right!!โฃ
